Why did you choose Liberty? "I chose Liberty because it was the only campus I visited that met all of my wishes. The coaches and teammates were incredibly welcoming and always made me feel at home. The opportunity of playing field hockey, furthering my education and pursuing my relationship with Christ was something I could not pass up."
What was your favorite thing about Liberty's campus? "Surprisingly my favorite part of Liberty's campus was the construction. Seeing all the new changes happening to the campus was so exciting and it was refreshing to see a school so excited about innovation."
What is your goal coming in to Liberty? "My hope when I reach Liberty is to not only grow as an athlete but also in my relationship with Christ. I am so excited to be guided by people such as Coach Jodi Murphy and my captains and learning from them how to balance all parts of life."
Head Coach Jodi Murphy on Hamlett: "Rebecca will be a great addition to the Liberty Field Hockey program. She has a desire to grow and learn in all aspects of her life as a student-athlete at Liberty. She is incredibly honest and willing to put in the work. She has great energy and has shown strong leadership skills."
