1. Liberty defeated Maryland, 5-4, on a walk-off double by 1B Andrew Yacyk at Liberty Baseball Stadium in its last outing, Tuesday.  

2. Liberty has won four straight home contests and is 12-4 at Liberty Baseball Stadium, this season.  

3. The last time Charleston Southern and Liberty met at Liberty Baseball Stadium was in 2013, the
stadium's inaugural season. In four meetings that season at the Liberty Baseball Stadium, the Flames won all four.  Liberty swept a three-game series during the regular season and defeated Charleston Southern, 2-1, during the Big South Championship on its way to capturing the conference title.

4. Liberty has opened Big South play with a 3-3 record. The Flames swept UNC Asheville in their only Big South Conference series at the facility so far in 2016.

5. 19 out Liberty's first 31 games have been decided by two runs or less and 13 by one run.

• 1B Andrew Yacyk's third hit of the night, a double, gave the Liberty Flames a 5-4 walk-off win over the Maryland Terrapins, Tuesday.

• In two games against Maryland this season, the Hagerstown, Md. native went 8-for-11 with six RBI.

• Yacyk leads the Flames and is third in the Big South with six home runs.  Currently, he is fifth in the Big South with 31 RBI and among the conference's leaders in hits.

• OF D.J. Artis scored three times, including the walk-off run, Tuesday night against Maryland. He reached base on two hits and a walk, had a RBI and swiped a base in the contest.

• Currently, Artis leads the Flames and the Big South Conference with a .527 on base percentage. He is among the top four in the conference and leads Liberty in batting average (.395), hits (45), stolen bases (11) and walks (29).

• RHP Shane Quarterley leads the Flames in appearances with 15. All have been in relief.  The junior ran his record to 5-0, Tuesday in Liberty's 5-4 win over Maryland. He pitched a scoreless 1 1/3 innings in the contest.

• Currently, Quarterley is third in the Big South in appearances, tied for second in saves (4) and tied for second in wins (4).

• SS Dalton Britt had two hits, a triple and scored a run, Tuesday night in 5-4 win over Maryland.

• Britt started his 200th consecutive game in the first game of Liberty's doubleheader against Kent State on March 19.  Britt has now started 211 straight games. The  senior has started every Liberty contest since joining the Flames in 2012.  He is on pace to break Trey Wimmer's (2009-14) career record of 235 games played.

• LHP Victor Cole tied for fourth in the Big South with 42 strikeouts and second in opponent batting average (.179).

• OF Will Shepherd enters the weekend second on the team and eighth in the Big South in runs scored with 27. He is also among the conference leaders in doubles (11)  and total bases.

• CF Jack Morris tied a season-high with three RBI, last Sunday at Winthrop. Both of his two hits plated runs.

• DH Austin Bream scored a career-high three runs, last Sunday at Winthrop. He singled and walked twice in the contest.
