Last Time Out The Lady Flames fell to Richmond on Saturday by a final score of 16-11 in Richmond, Va. Liberty claimed the early 2-0 advantage thanks to goals by Callie Francis and Michaela Rich. However, the Spiders' offense proved too much for the Lady Flames as Liberty yielded 16 goals on 44 shots. Katherine Widrick and Aubrie Tarris accounted for 18 saves as the combination of freshmen goalkeepers split time in Saturday's contest. Kayla Foster collected her second consecutive three-point performance to open the season. Foster notched two goals and dished out one assist. Francis led the team in goals during Saturday's non-conference loss. The redshirt senior recorded the first hat trick of the season by a Lady Flame, capitalizing on each of her three shots taken.
