Live Results Live Video Day 1 Recap The Liberty swimming & diving team will begin day two at the 2016 CCSA Swimming & Diving Championships in second place with 179 points.
The Lady Flames trail defending CCSA champion Florida Gulf Coast by 10 points, and are 10 points ahead of Incarnate Word. Liberty posted two program records last night.
Last night, Liberty placed second in both the 200 medley relay and 800 free relay. The Lady Flames' 200 medley relay of Victoria Tschoke, Prudence Rooker, Kendall Hough and Rachel Hoeve placed second in 1:39.37. That time is the second fastest in program history. Brooke Fox set a new program record in three-meter diving, placing sixth with a score of 224.75, while Madi Long placed seventh with 208.30 and Courtney Fox (151.10) placed ninth.
Liberty closed the night with a second-place showing in the 800 free relay, led off by Natalie Beale's program-record-setting 200 free leadoff (1:48.68). Beale, Ashlee Sall, Kristin VanDeventer and Shelby Black competed in the 800 free relay.
Thursday's morning program features preliminary heats of the 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley and 50 freestyle. The top 24 preliminary times in each event will qualify for tonight's finals. There will also be "B" heats of the 200 freestyle relay this morning.
Today's action will feature pool-side, live blog coverage as the Lady Flames compete in Athens.
