Recently, former Liberty baseball player Ian Parmley was featured on LFSN's GameON.

Parmley patrolled centerfield for the Flames for two seasons (2011-12), before being selected in the seventh round by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2013 Major League Draft.

Parmley earned first team Big South All-Conference, ECAC All-Star and VaSID All-State honors in 2012 as a senior. The Maltby, Wash., native hit .313, scoring 114 runs and driving in 45 runs in 115 games during his Flames' career. He also stole 57 bases, which rank seventh on Liberty's all-time list.

This past year, Parmley finished 2015 with the Blue Jays' Double A affiliate, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats after beginning the year in Dunedin. In 43 games with the Fisher Cats, Parmley hit .278 with 16 RBI and 20 runs scored.
