Due to heavy snowfall forecasted for Central Virginia, the Liberty women's basketball team's game at Longwood will now be played Sunday at 2 p.m. inside Willett Hall.
The 36th all-time meeting between the Route 460 foes was originally scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m.
This is the second straight season that a snowstorm has impacted the Lady Flames' game at Longwood. Liberty's Feb. 17, 2015 contest at Longwood was played two hours earlier than originally scheduled due to approximately six inches of snowfall in Farmville.
Liberty (9-8, 6-2 Big South) has won six of its last seven games, moving into a five-way tie for first place in the Big South standings. Longwood (5-13, 2-7 Big South) will be looking to snap a four-game losing streak.
