As the calendar winds down to the final days of 2015, the Liberty Flames Sports Network is looking back at the moments that made this athletics year special for Flames Nation.

The series continues today by looking at Moment No. 11, softball's 5-4 win over Coastal Carolina in 10 innings on April 18 at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium.

The Lady Flames swept a Big South doubleheader over their conference rivals on April 18, winning both games by a score of 5-4 in front of their home crowd. The second came in dramatic fashion as Cassie Gingerich laid down a squeeze bunt to plate Mickey Loveridge with the winning run in extra innings.

The victory capped off another Big South series win for the Lady Flames. Liberty finished the 2015 season winning six of eight Big South series.

The win was also one of 13 for Liberty in the new Liberty Softball Stadium. The stadium opened on March 10 and was dedicated Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium on April 3.

The Liberty Flames Sports Network will continue to countdown the top moments of 2015 when LibertyFlames.com reveals moment No. 10 next Monday.
