2015 Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-American Teams
Following a strong senior campaign, Natalie Barr has become the first Lady Flame to garner a position on the NFHCA All-American squad. Barr was named to the 2015 Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-American third team, announced by the NFHCA this afternoon.
Barr's accomplishment comes after being named to the NFCHA All-South Region first team on Nov. 30.
Barr paced Liberty with 33 points and tied Ashlee Krulock for the most goals on the team with 14. The senior forward also added five assists and three game-winning markers throughout the 2015 campaign. The Northern Ireland native finished her career as the all-time leader in goals (54), points (134), shots (308) and game-winning goals (13).
Barr was one of three senior captains, leading the Lady Flames to a 12-6 finish during the 2015 campaign. Liberty competed as an independent team and notched key road wins against then No. 15 Old Dominion (2-1) and then No. 13 Delaware (6-2).
