2015-16 MBB TV Schedule Announced

The Liberty men's basketball team will have 27 of its 31 regular-season games broadcasted on a combination of ESPN3, the Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN), the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN HD), the American Sports Network (ASN) and the Big South Network during the upcoming 2015-16 season.

Eleven of Liberty's 16 home games at the Vines Center will be available for viewing on ESPN3. In addition, the Flames' road matchups against Radford and Furman will be featured on the network. ESPN3 also plans to broadcast the Big South Men's Basketball Championship quarterfinals and semifinals on March 6 and 7. The championship game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

The Flames will also receive national television coverage when they square off with Notre Dame on Dec. 29. That matchup in South Bend, Ind., will broadcast live on ESPNU at 3 p.m.

Liberty's Challenge in Music City matchups against Appalachian State (Nov. 26) and Tulane (Nov. 29) will air on ASN. The Flames' road meeting with VCU will broadcast in the Richmond area on CBS 6.1.

LFSN will televise nine Liberty home games, with Matt Warner and Paul Nazigian providing play-by-play and color commentary, respectively. Liberty's contest versus Campbell will air exclusively on ESPN3. The Flames' home contests against High Point and Gardner-Webb will be broadcast on ASN.

For the second straight year, games will be video streamed live for free on the Big South Network presented by State Farm. Liberty will appear on the Big South Network 19 times during the regular season, while the network will also carry the first-round games at the Big South Men's Basketball Championship on March 3.

Liberty's first televised game of the year will be Tuesday's contest versus William & Mary. The clash between the Flames and the Tribe will tip off at 7 p.m. on ESPN3, LFSN, MASN HD, WFFP and the Big South Network.

In addition to Liberty's television coverage, all 31 men's basketball contests will air on the radio via the Liberty Flames Sports Network. Alan York will handle play-by-play duties for each broadcast, while Liberty Hall of Famer Matt Hildebrand will serve as color comentator. The network's flagship station, WVGM (ESPNinVA, 93.3 FM/1320 AM), will carry every contest throughout the season, with other LFSN radio affiliates throughout the Central Virginia area providing coverage during the 2015-16 campaign.
