For the second time in program history, and first since 2011, the Liberty Lady Flames have placed three student-athletes (Sam Struss, Meghan Hammond and Nina Dunay) on the 2015 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
Struss, Hammond and Dunay join Amanda Hornick, Chloe McIntosh and Audra Menez as the only IWLCA Academic Honor Roll recipients in program history.
There were a total of 256 Division I women's lacrosse student-athletes that were recognized for their work in the classroom. The 256 student-athletes represented 80 different institutions, with each student-athlete having a cumulative academic grade-point average of 3.50 or greater.
The IWLCA honored a record-setting 838 student-athletes this year from a grand total of 255 different institutions. The Division I student-athletes made up 31 of the overall recipients for this year.
