2015 Liberty Women's Soccer Schedule

A season-opening tournament in California, a home opener versus Tennessee and a road trip to Pittsburgh highlight the 2015 Liberty women's soccer schedule. The Lady Flames will have a total of eight home games for the upcoming campaign, as the 2014 Big South regular-season champions look to capture a fifth conference title.

"We stand in awe of all that God is doing among our teammates and set our sights prayerfully to the task ahead this year – sharing the immeasurable love of Christ to many new teams," Liberty Women's Soccer Head Coach Jessica Hain stated. "I know I speak for all of us when I say we cannot wait!"

Hain's Lady Flames will begin their season in Fullerton, Calif., squaring off with Cal State Fullerton on Aug. 21. Liberty will wrap up play in the Fullerton Tournament Presented by Embassy Suites against UC Riverside on Aug. 23.

Liberty will open play at home against Tennessee on Aug. 28 at 3 p.m. The Lady Flames' remaining non-conference home schedule includes September matchups with Old Dominion and VCU. In Big South action, Liberty will host Charleston Southern, Campbell, High Point, Gardner-Webb and Coastal Carolina.

Along with Liberty's trip to California, the Lady Flames will have non-conference road matches at James Madison, Pittsburgh and George Washington in September. Liberty's Big South road opponents will be Radford, UNC Asheville, Presbyterian, Winthrop and Longwood.

Liberty will begin its pursuit of a fifth Big South Championship title, starting Nov. 1. The conference's top eight teams will square off at the home fields of the top four teams that day. The winners will then advance to the semifinals on Nov. 6, with the Big South Championship final on Nov. 8. The semifinals and finals will be played at Bryan Park Soccer Complex in Greensboro, N.C. The conference champion receives an automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.
