Men's soccer player David Maharaj overcame a serious injury early in his career to play for the Flames, this past fall.
As Game On reporter Andy Freeman recaps, Maharaj played in 17 games as a senior in 2014, his only season as a Flame. The native of Manassas, Va., was key substitute for Liberty, showing his versatility by playing several positons, as he was able to achieve his dream of becoming a collegiate soccer player.
