Liberty standout freshman, Katy Pridemore, was named to the Inside Lacrosse Women's All-Rookie squad as announced by the Inside Lacrosse. The All-Rookie team is comprised of 20 freshmen spanning all four positions: eight attackers, seven midfielders, four defenders and one goalkeeper.
Pridemore was the only Big South representative on the ILWomen All-Rookie squad and the first-ever Lady Flame to be named to the All-Rookie team. The Vero Beach, Fla., native proved to be one of the top freshmen in the country this spring, leading the Lady Flames in goals (52) and finishing second in points (68). Pridemore's 52 goals set a new single-season program record for goals scored, passing Sam Struss' previous mark of 41 set in 2014.
Starting in all but one game, Pridemore collected 16 assists, picked up nine ground balls, had 22 draw controls and caused eight turnovers. In addition, the standout freshman was named to both the Big South All-Conference second team and the Big South All-Tournament team.
