Lady Flames Recruiting Class Ranked No. 22 Among Mid-Majors

The Liberty Lady Flames women's tennis squad continued to make history under the guidance of third-year head coach Jeff Maren in 2015. Maren led the squad to a 19-5 record, the most single-season wins in program history. For the second consecutive season, the Lady Flames finished 7-2 in conference play.

The continued success helped place Liberty on the map for intercollegiate tennis and opened the door for strong recruits to build to an already talented roster. For the first time in program history, the Lady Flames have been ranked among the Top 25 Mid-Major Women's Tennis recruiting classes as selected by the Tennis Recruiting Network and Solfire, falling in at No. 22.

Anna Dollar tops the Liberty recruiting class as the Pennsylvania native enters as a four-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net. Dollar posted a 30-26 overall record against ranked opponents, including a 13-1 mark against four-star opponents.

Aleksandra Panchenko hails from Moscow, Russia and competed at the most prestigious academies in Russia, Spartak and Luzhniki, where players such as Anna Kournikova, Marat Safin and Dinara Safina have trained. Prior to moving to Florida, Panchenko was ranked as high as No. 2 in Russia.

Audrey Brown rounds out the No. 22 recruiting class for the Lady Flames. Brown competed at Seffner Christian Academy in Tampa Bay, Fla. Brown was ranked as high as No. 73 in Florida and No. 673 nationally.
