From the press box overlooking North Florida's Hodges Stadium, LibertyFlames.com will provide live blog coverage of all three days of the 2015 NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round meet.

Twelve will be the magic number in hot, humid Jacksonville, Fla., as the top 12 competitors in each event will earn the right to compete in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships. That meet will be contested June 10-13 in Eugene, Ore.

Five of Liberty's 15 athletes at this meet will be in action today. Here's how the Thursday schedule looks for the Flames and Lady Flames.

3:30 p.m. – Women's Shot Put (Mychelle Cumings)
4:30 p.m. – Women's Pole Vault (Jessie Glynn)
5 p.m. – Men's 400 Hurdles First Round (Ryan Davis)
6:30 p.m. – Women's 100 First Round (Abigail Flower)
9 p.m. – Women's 10K Semifinal (Ednah Kurgat)

I will once again use the interactive CoveritLive blog interface. This format allows readers to submit comments and questions throughout the day, as you follow your favorite Flames and Lady Flames.

Without further ado, go Liberty!
