The Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN) TV show Game On recently featured Liberty Softball Head Coach Dot Richardson as part of a series entitled "In Their Own Words."
In this feature, Richardson gives her testimony, providing a look into the faith that continues to guide her. She also speaks about the many blessings that the Lord has provided, and how she has been led through many great experiences along the way.
A legend in softball, Richardson was a two-time Olympic gold medalist (1996 and 2000). Among many highlights in her playing career, she hit the game-winning home run in the 1996 Olympic gold medal game. She completed her second year at Liberty this season, leading the Lady Flames to an 18-win improvement over the 2014 campaign. Richardson's Lady Flames seem poised to continue to make strides toward future success.
