Why did you choose Liberty? "I chose Liberty because I fell in love with everything about it. I knew the first time I was on campus that it was the place where I would fit in and flourish. I'm most excited about my new teammates. I knew right away that they were an amazing group of girls who love the Lord and genuinely care about each other. They have such an awesome bond and I'm so excited to really get to know them. And, the coaches are special too. They are tough, but truly love God and their girls. They believe that everything is possible for the program and have so much faith in the team."
What was your favorite thing about Liberty's campus? "My favorite thing about the campus is its location in the mountains. The scenery is so beautiful and peaceful."
What is your goal coming to Liberty? "As a student, I hope to find out the career path God has for me. As an athlete, my goal is to work extremely hard so that I can help our team win a national championship."
Head Coach Jodi Murphy on Julius: "We are thrilled to welcome Abby to our 2019 class. Abby's heart for the Lord and bold faith will be a great addition to our current team. Not only that, Abby's decorated high school and club career have given her a strong foundation entering the college game. Additionally, her time spent in the junior national program has provided her the opportunity to grow her game around some of the best junior hockey players in the country. As a player, she will add speed, creativity and the ability to finish our attack. Abby's personality offers a great blend of a fierce competitor coupled with a joyful spirit. We are looking forward to seeing her shine at Liberty."
