Throughout the 2014-15 athletic year, LFSN Game On reporter Alan York will take a regular look inside Liberty University athletics in a segment called the "York Report."

This week, York profiles junior Sadalia Ellis, the starting point guard on the Big South champion Liberty women's basketball team. Ellis, who averages 8.0 ppg, has racked up the most assists (134) by a Lady Flame since 1997-98 and the most steals (74) by a Liberty player since 2009-10.

During basketball's offseason, Ellis is a high jumper for the Liberty women's track & field team. She cleared 5-4.25 to tie for second place at the 2013 Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships, helping the Lady Flames claim the team title.

Ellis and the Lady Flames will make their 16th appearance in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship, with their first round game set for either March 20 or 21. The full bracket will be revealed on Monday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
