Lady Flames Remain at No. 14 in Mid-Major Top 25

For the second straight week, Liberty is ranked No. 14 in the latest Women's Mid-Major Top 25.

Since last week's poll was released, Liberty (22-6) recorded home victories over Charleston Southern (64-53) and Winthrop (91-71), extending its winning streak to 10 games. At 18-1 in conference play, the Lady Flames have wrapped up the Big South regular-season title and set a new Big South record for most conference victories in a single season.

Princeton, Chattanooga, Florida Gulf Coast, James Madison and Green Bay own the top five positions in the rankings, which are made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast, Western Athletic.

Liberty will conclude its regular season Saturday at 1 p.m., when the Lady Flames travel to Campbell. They will then play their first game at the 2015 Big South Women's Basketball Championship March 5 at The HTC Center in Conway, S.C.
