Live Results Live Video Day One Recap The Liberty swimming & diving team will begin day two at the 2015 CCSA Swimming & Diving Championships in fourth place with 112 points.
Last night, Liberty placed second in both the 200 medley relay and 800 free relay. The Lady Flames swam 1:39.73 in the 200 medley relay, getting a program-record 24.97 50 backstroke split from Kendall Hough. The time posted by Hough, freshmen Prudence Rooker and Kendall Hart and senior Meghan Babcock, ranks second in program history. The Lady Flames' 800 free relay of senior Cori Gary, freshmen Rachel Wasko and Chelsea Pond and senior Emily Duff placed second in the 800 free in 7:21.10.
Thursday's morning program features preliminary heats of the 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley and 50 freestyle. The top 24 preliminary times in each event will qualify for tonight's finals. There will also be "B" heats of the 200 freestyle relay this morning.
Freshman Madi Long will compete in the one-meter springboard diving event, with preliminaries starting at 1 p.m. Today's action will feature pool-side, live blog coverage as the Lady Flames compete in Athens. Look for coverage to begin shortly before the 10 a.m. prelims start with an interactive blog, where all are invited to interact with questions and comments.
