Liberty Baseball, Softball Part of Big South Spring TV Package

Liberty baseball and softball will be a part of the Big South Spring TV package.

Liberty baseball and softball will be a part of the Big South Spring TV package.

ESPNU will televise the final game of a three-game conference series between the Campbell Camels and the Liberty Flames, April 12, the Big South Conference announced as part of the league's television package, this afternoon.

In addition, both Liberty baseball and softball will appear on the package which includes telecasts on ESPN3 and the American Sports Network.

ESPNU will broadcast the Campbell at Liberty baseball contest from the Liberty Baseball Stadium, April 12 at 4 p.m. It will be the first time ESPNU has broadcast a game from Liberty's new baseball facility.

The American Sports Network will also televise the Flames contest at Coastal Carolina on May 10 at 1 p.m. The game is scheduled to be the finale of a three-game conference series between the two teams at Coastal Carolina's new Springs Brooks Stadium.

Big South baseball will make its season debut on ESPN3 with the March 27 game between the Presbyterian Blue Hose and the Liberty Flames from Lynchburg, Va. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. The Flames will also appear on ESPN3 on May 15 against High Point. The contest will be televised live from Liberty Baseball Stadium, starting at 7 p.m.

Liberty softball will appear on ESPN3 as part of the Big South television package on April 4. The Lady Flames will host the Presbyterian Blue Hose from the new Liberty Softball Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.

ESPN3 will broadcast up to four games on Day Three of the Big South Softball Championship, presented by Musco Sports Lighting, on May 9 and the title contest on May 10.

The 24/7 live multi-screen network will also televise up to four games on Day Four of the Big South Baseball Championship on May 22. The network will be the home of the Big South baseball title game for the fifth-straight year. The May 23 game will air live from John Henry Moss Stadium in Boiling Springs, N.C.
