The Liberty softball team posted a 3-2 record at the 2015 Dot Richardson Invitational, hosted Friday through Sunday at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. The Lady Flames posted shutout wins over Cleveland State and UMass Lowell and earned the first win over an SEC team in program history, a 5-2 win over Arkansas.

The Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN) TV show Game On was on location for the Dot Richardson Invitational, and got reaction from freshman Abby Tincher, junior Mickey Loveridge, seniors Kelby Allen and Megan Robinson, along with head coach Dot Richardson.

Redshirt junior Chandler Ball tossed two four-hit shutouts on the weekend, against Cleveland State and UMass Lowell, while Tincher pitched a complete-game victory over Arkansas in her first collegiate start.

The Lady Flames next play at the Aquafina Invitational, hosted by defending national champion Florida on Friday and Saturday in Gainesville, Fla.
