On Wednesday, Liberty Head Football Coach Turner Gill announced his 2015 signing class after 14 players signed national letters of intent to join the program.
Following National Signing Day, LFSN produced the inaugural "Liberty Flames Signing Day Special presented by Game On."
The 70-minute show was streamed live on ESPN3 and the Liberty Flames Athletics YouTube account. During the show, LFSN's reporters Alan York and Nick Pierce provided in-depth analysis of Gill's signing class, along with feature interviews with many of Liberty's assistant coaches.
Gill's 2015 signing class, his fourth recruiting class at Liberty, includes 13 high school standouts and the addition of one mid-year enrollee, Ernst Andersen. Andersen, who hails from Lillesand, Norway, enrolled at Liberty in January and will practice with the team this spring.
Gill's incoming freshmen signing class includes six offensive players (two wide receivers, two offensive linemen, a tight end and a running back) and eight defensive players (three defensive linemen, two safeties, two cornerbacks and a linebacker).
Liberty's coaching staff was able to ink players from five different states and one country to national letters of intent: Florida (4), Georgia (1), South Carolina (1), Texas (3), Virginia (4) and Norway (1).
