For the second time this season, Liberty's Isaiah Logue has been named the Big South Men's Golf Freshman of the Week.

The freshman opened the tournament portion of Liberty's spring schedule with a tie for 26th place at the Sea Best Invitational earlier this week. Logue was one of five golfers to finish tied for 26th place with a 15-over par 225 (74-75-76).

The TPC Sawgrass – Dye's Valley Course played tough during the two-day, 54-hole event in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. One player finished the event with an ever par score, while 69 of the 81 golfers in the 15-team field posted double digit over-par scores.

Liberty finished the event tied for 10th place with a team score of 73-over par 913 (303-308-302). Fellow Big South schools Coastal Carolina and No. 31 Winthrop were also in the field.

The Chanticleers finished in ninth place with a 66-over par 906 (295-309-302), while the Eagles finished in 13th place with an 84-over par 924 (307-304-313).

The top Big South golfer in the field was Coastal Carolina's Ben Wheeler. He was named this week's Big South Men's Golfer of the Week after a fourth-place showing with a 6-over par 216 (70-72-74).

Logue was also named Big South Men's Golf Freshman of the Week on Oct. 24, 2014, after he finished in fourth place at the Pinetree Intercollegiate.

On the season, Logue ranks second on Liberty's roster with a 74.73 stroke average. He has been Liberty's top golfer in three out of five tournaments.

The Flames return to the "Sunshine State" next week to participate in the SunTrust Gator Invitational, Feb. 14-15. The 54-hole event is hosted by Florida at its home course, the Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla.
