Adam Eineving fired Liberty's best round of the afternoon flight and enters tomorrow's final round of the 2015 Sea Best Invitational tied for 51st place.
The Flames share 13th place with fellow Big South foe Winthrop following the first two rounds of play at the 2015 Sea Best Invitational on Monday.
Liberty (303-308) and Winthrop (307-304), who is ranked No. 31 in the country in the latest Golfstat rankings, share 13th place with a 51-over par 611.
Scores across the board were high on Monday with No. 15 North Carolina (288-296) leading the 15-team field with a 24-over par. No. 3 Florida State (292-295), the top ranked team in the field, trail the Tar Heels by three strokes with a 27-over par.
Florida (295-293) sits one stroke behind its fellow "Sunshine State" team in third place with a 28-over par 588.
No. 28 North Florida (301-291) benefited from the best team score in the afternoon to climb into fourth place with a 32-over par 592. No. 30 UNLV (296-298) rounded out the top five teams in the field at a 34-over par 594.
Coastal Carolina, the third Big South team in the field, stands in eighth place with a 44-over par 604 (295-309).
Florida's A.J. Crouch (69-70) was the only player in the 81-man field to finish 36 holes on the par-70 TPC Sawgrass – Dye's Valley Course (6,873 yards) in red figures.
Crouch's 1-under par 139 is three strokes ahead of reigning Big South medalist Ben Wheeler (2-over par/70-72-142) of Coastal Carolina and Ben Griffin (2-over par/68-74-142) of North Carolina.
Liberty's top golfer in the Flames' first full tournament of the spring is Isaiah Logue. The freshman is tied for 23rd place at 9-over par 149 (74-75).
Adam Eineving (80-75) posted Liberty's best round of the afternoon flight. The freshman is tied for 51st place at 15-over par 155.
Payton Taylor, who is competing in his first event for the Flames after transferring from Wisconsin, is tied with Eineving in 51st place with a 15-over par 155 (74-81).
Rounding out Liberty's golfers in the field are Mathieu Fenasse, who is tied for 59th place with a 16-over par 156 (76-80), and Harrison Winger, who is tied for 64th place with a 17-over par 157 (79-78).
Fenasse and Winger were a part of Liberty's squad that captured the 2014 Sea Best Invitational title. However, last year's tournament was held at the TPC Sawgrass sister course, the world famous THE PLAYERS Stadium Course.
The Flames will return to the course tomorrow for the final round of the 2015 Sea Best Invitational. Liberty will tee it up alongside Winthrop and USC Upstate, starting off the No. 10 tee (par 4, 413 yards) at 8:27 a.m.
