During this Thanksgiving weekend, Flames Nation is thankful for many things, including Chima Uzowihe's blocked field goal that allowed Liberty to #BEATCOASTAL last Saturday.

With the clock winding down in Liberty's Big South battle with No. 2/1 Coastal Carolina, the Chanticleers' Alex Catron came on the field to attempt 24-yard field goal that would have given Coastal Carolina a two-point victory.

However, sophomore JaRon Greene was able to clear a path for his fellow defensive lineman, allowing Uzowihe to get a hand on the kick. The blocked field goal try secured the 15-14 victory for the Flames and gave Liberty its seventh Big South title in program history.

The win, Liberty's first-ever over the No. 1 team in the country, also gave the Flames the Big South automatic bid to the NCAA FCS Playoffs for the first time in program history.

Today's LFSN video package breaks down many different aspects of the blocked field goal, including interviews with Uzowihe, special teams coordinator Jamaal Fobbs and defensive line coach Vantz Singletary.

No. 20/23 Liberty will travel to Harrisonburg, Va., this Saturday to face No. 15/15 James Madison in a first round NCAA FCS Playoff matchup. Kickoff from Bridgeforth Stadium is set for 4 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
