A Glance at Liberty
Liberty enters the weekend with a 9-7 record (3-0 NorPac), following its third consecutive loss, all against Top 10 ACC opponents. Prior to its three-game skid, Liberty carried momentum with an eight-game winning streak heading into Duke on Oct. 12.

Last weekend, the Lady Flames surrendered three unanswered goals on the road at No. 6 Virginia, falling to the Cavaliers, 3-2 in overtime. Liberty hosted No. 1 North Carolina on Sunday, a game that was aired on ESPN3. The visiting Tar Heels proved too much for the Lady Flames, leaving Lynchburg with a 4-0 victory.

Sarah Gipe enters Thursday tied with her personal single-season record in goals with 13, set back in 2012. Gipe leads the team in goals and stands atop the points category with 30, a new personal single-season points record for the Greencastle, Pa. native.

With a win tomorrow, Liberty will clinch its third NorPac East title in as many years.

A Glance at the Tigers
Pacific enters the contest with a 5-9 record (1-1 NorPac). The Tigers come into Lynchburg having ended their four-game slide, defeating UC Davis on Oct. 18 by a score of 3-2. Pacific is led by Ali Campos who has 11 goals on the season. The Tigers and Lady Flames squared off to start the season on Aug. 29, with Liberty earning the 2-1 victory in Stanford, Calif. Liberty holds a 2-0 advantage over Pacific in the Lady Flames' four-year history.

A Look Ahead
Liberty concludes its regular season on Oct. 28, hosting Georgetown at Liberty Field Hockey Field. The contest is slated to begin at 4 p.m. The Lady Flames have contained the Hoyas in two previous contests, posting a 2-0 record in the head-to-head matchup. In the most recent contest, Liberty upended Georgetown, 7-0, in College Park, Md. on Oct. 20, 2013.
