Last Thursday, Flames Club members at the Director's level and higher were welcomed to the AD Suite in the Williams Stadium Tower for the seventh annual Flames Football Director's Day event.
During the event, qualified Flames Club members ($3,000 donors and higher) were allowed to select their individual seat locations for the upcoming 2014 football season.
The event ran from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and members were welcomed in different time slots based upon their contribution level and amount of loyalty points accumulated. In addition to selecting their seats, members were able to enjoy refreshments, provided by Liberty University's Sodexho catering services.
A Flames Club-record 84 members took part in the annual event, selecting a record 541 seats in the stadium's elite preferred seating area for a near 20 percent increase over last year's numbers (71 members selecting 461 seats). This year, Liberty's football schedule features six home games, beginning with the home opener against Brevard on Sept. 13 (7 p.m.).
