Recently, Liberty cheerleading coach Jenny Sydnor, who is stepping away from her post, sat down with Liberty Flames Sports Network's Alan York to discuss some of the highlights of her coaching career. During the interview, Sydnor talks about the opportunities the team has had to compete on a national level and the difficulty of stepping away from the program. After six years at the program's helm, Sydnor will now look to continue her education through the field of physical therapy, while also concentrating on spending more time with her family.
Under her guidance, Sydnor took the program to new heights, which included a top five finish at the Universal Cheerleaders Association's (UCA) College Cheerleading National Championship in 2011, a first place finish in the 2013 UCA Spirit Camp and first place finishes at 2013 and 2014 CCA Nationals.
