• 2B Ryan Seiz hit his 10th home run of the season, 4/14 vs. Virginia Tech. He leads the Big South with 10 home runs.
• Seiz also leads the Big South in batting average, RBIs, runs scored, on base percentage, slugging percentage and total bases.
• C Danny Grauer collected his third three-hit game of the season and drove in two runs in win at Gardner-Webb, Friday.
• Grauer hit his sixth home run of the season in win at Gardner-Webb, Thursday.
• Grauer is fi fth in home runs in the Big South. He is fi fth in RBIs and is sixth in slugging percentage in the conference.
• 1B Alex Close is tied for second in the Big South in RBIs and eighth in slugging percentage. He has five home runs and is sixth in conference.
• OF Andrew Yacyk had two hits including a home run vs. Virginia Tech, 4/14. Yacyk's two-run home run in the fi fth inning was his third of the year.
• DH Becker Sankey hit his fi rst home run of the season at Longwood, 4/11. Sankey drove in seven runs, 4/7-13.
• SS Dalton Britt enters the week with a season-long 10-game hit streak. It is the longest of his career. Britt has at least one in 20 out of his last 21.
• Britt is tied for eighth in the Big South Conference in hits.
• Liberty RHP Trey Lambert leads the conference with nine wins. Lambert recorded his ninth consecutive win in 5-1 win over Gardner-Webb, Thursday. He pitched his Big South-leading third shutout.
• Lambert leads the Big South Conference in wins. He ranks third in innings pitched (72.1) and seventh in ERA (2.12).
• RHP Parker Bean was named the Big South Pitcher of the Week and earned Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week honors for March 31-April 6.
• Bean pitched his fi rst complete game in Liberty's 6-1 over Longwood, 4/13. He did not allow a hit until the fi fth and struck out 11 batters.
• Bean is tied for second in the Big South Conference in wins and is ninth in ERA. He leads the Flames and is tied for sixth in the conference in strikeouts.
• Bean came within two outs of a no-hitter in win over VMI, 4/6. The freshman right-hander struck out a career-high 16 batters and allowed only one batter to reach second base over 81/3 scoreless innings.
• RHP Ashton Perritt record his fi rst win of the season with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief in 4-1 win at Gardner-Webb, Friday. He is second in the Big South Conference with eight saves.

Liberty Posts Best Record Through 40 Games
• With a 31-9 mark, Liberty has record its best record through its fi rst 40 games of the season in program history.
• The Flames previously had gone 30-10 over its fi rst 40 games of the season four times, the most recent being 2012.
• Liberty posted a 30-10 record in 2012, 1981 and 1980.


Pitching Making Mark
• Liberty entered the week with the fi fth-best winning percentage in the nation (31-9, .775). The Flames' mound corps has been a key element for Head Coach Jim Toman's team by making things tough for the opposition, this season.
• The Flames enter the week with a Big South-leading 2.41 ERA. Liberty is nationally in the category.
• Liberty pitching also ranks fi fth nationally with eight shutouts. The Flames recorded six consecutive shutouts in Big South contests from March 28 - April 6. Liberty did not allow a run in a sweep of a three-game series at Presbyterian College, March 28-30, and during a three-game sweep of a series against VMI at Liberty Baseball Stadium, April 4-6.
• Liberty pitching has posted a 2.41 ERA and held opponents to .221 batting average in 2014. The Flames have held opponents to 3.0 runs per game this season.
• Over their last 30 games, the Flames have a 1.85 ERA and held opponents to a .207 batting average. Liberty is allowing 1.6 runs per game during the span.
