The Flames' men's tennis team closes out its home schedule on Friday afternoon, hosting Big South Conference opponent Radford at the Hershey Tennis Courts at 2:30 p.m. Prior to the match, Liberty will honor its two seniors, Shea Thomas and Stan Vaughan, as part of Senior Day.

The Flames are coming off a 5-2 home win against conference foe UNC Asheville on Monday afternoon. The victory improved Liberty to 9-9 overall and 2-3 in Big South matches. The Flames have won two out of their last three matches.
Thomas paces Liberty with an 11-6 singles record this season. The senior has won three consecutive matches, each of which has come against conference opponents. Thomas is just one win shy of tying Giancarlo Lemmi for second place on Liberty's all-time singles wins listing. Egon Samaai is second on the team with 10 singles victories.
In doubles play, Samaai and Dillon Segur have collected wins in five straight contests and have an overall mark of 10-3. The duo ranks third in the conference in overall doubles wins and second in the league in victories in the No. 2 position. In its last four matches, Liberty is a combined 9-3 in doubles matches.
The Highlanders have had good success against the Flames, winning 29 out the 34 all-time meetings between the two Commonwealth schools.
Radford enters tomorrow's match with a 2-10 overall record and a 2-3 conference mark. In their last match, the Highlanders fell to Winthrop, 4-2. Top singles player Nicholas Sayer leads the team in wins with seven and holds a national ranking of 119. Sayer and partner Joe Mills have a team-best three doubles wins.
Liberty closes out the regular season next week with a pair of conference road matches. The Flames travel to face Coastal Carolina on Wednesday, before challenging Campbell on April 10.
