Video Views: 28736 continues its countdown of the Top 10 Moments of 2013 for Liberty Athletics today, looking at No. 3, field hockey's victory over No. 10 Stanford.

In just three short seasons, the field hockey program went from nonexistence to NCAA Tournament bound, concluding the epic climb with an upset victory over a seasoned program in Stanford.

For the second year in a row, Liberty captured the NorPac East title and advanced to the NorPac Tournament title game. Playing in front of their own fans and on their home turf, the Lady Flames stunned the nationally ranked Cardinal, winning, 2-1, in the conference title event.

The win set a new program record for victories in a season at 17 and gave Liberty the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Field Hockey Championship, where the Lady Flames' storied season came to an end in a Play-In game against No. 14 Delaware. will continue its countdown of the Top 10 Moments of 2013 on Monday with a look at Moment No. 2.
