Liberty University Head Women's Basketball Coach Carey Green did not have to look far to find a new assistant coach. Alexis Sherard, who served as an assistant on the Liberty men's basketball coaching staff the past two seasons, has joined the Lady Flames' staff in the same capacity.

Liberty sophomore guard/forward Megan Frazee has joined past Lady Flames standout Katie Feenstra as the only Liberty players ever to be included on the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association (VaSID) All-State Women's Basketball first-team roster, it was announced today.

The WNBA's San Antonio Silver Stars have named Olaf Lange assistant coordinator of video services and player development. Lange, who worked as the Liberty women's basketball team's associate head coach the past two seasons, will join his wife, Sandy Brondello, an assistant coach for the Silver Stars.
