The Big South men's soccer match between the Liberty Flames and the Campbell Fighting Camels slated for tonight at Liberty Soccer Field has been canceled due to field conditions caused by heavy rains in the Lynchburg area Friday night.
The Flames continue Big South Conference action on Saturday when they travel to Conway, S.C., to face the two-time defending conference champion Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. at Brooks Stadium where the Flames will meet the Chanticleers, who rank 22nd nationally according to the Sports Network and 23rd according to College Sports News.

Charlotte of the Atlantic-10 Conference dealt Liberty its first home defeat of the season Tuesday evening. The visiting 49ers utilized an efficient attack, hitting .415 as a team in their 3-0 (30-22, 30-25, 30-24) victory at the Vines Center.
