2009 (So.): Named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll … posted eight wins as a sophomore, wrestling at 157 and 174 pounds … won his first three bouts of the year … helped Liberty to team dual victories over Gardner-Webb and The Citadel, posting a win by fall (2:35) and decision (6-4) to open the year … pinned South Dakota State's Weston Winston in the first round (2:37) at the Hoosier Duals … posted a 2-2 record at the Reno Tournament of Champions, picking up decision wins over The Citadel's Koziel Keith (12-5) and Wyoming's Tyler Davis (8-2) … wrestled up a weight class for the Flames at the NCAA East Regionals, advancing to the finals at 174 pounds … won his first two bouts by decision, before falling to Millersville's Shane Smith in the finals in a 4-1 decision.
