As the Flames Sports Network continues to recap the 2012 football season, FSN looks back at the Top 10 moments of the year, continuing today with moment No. 9.

The next moment in the Top 10 series comes from Liberty's game against Concord on Oct. 20, a play that allowed Liberty to secure a 21-13 victory on Family/Parents Weekend.

With the Mountain Lions driving midway through the fourth quarter, Concord quarterback Evin Dusold tried to pick up a first down on a third-and-one play from Liberty's 21-yard line.

However, the quarterback was quickly stopped when Brent Vinson came out of the defensive backfield to sack Dusold for a nine-yard loss. Kicker Andy Ellington came on to attempt a 48-yard field goal on the next play and missed wide left, allowing Liberty to eventually claim the eight-point victory.

Vinson led the Flames during the game with 10 stops (five solo, five assisted), his first of two 10-tackle performances during the season. Vinson went on to lead the Flames in tackles in 2012 with 68 tackles (41 solo, 27 assisted), 13 more stops than Scott Hyland who was second the team in tackles.

Vinson earned All-Big South first-team honors in 2012 and finished his career as Liberty's active tackles leader with 171 stops.

Be sure to check back each weekday during the next two weeks, as the Flames Sports Network and LibertyFlames.com continue to reveal the Top 10 moments of the 2012 football season. The No. 1 moment will be revealed on Dec. 28.
