As the Liberty women's basketball team prepares for a four-game homestand, Nick Pierce of the Flames Sports Network caught up with redshirt senior Devon Brown, redshirt sophomore Emily Frazier and head coach Carey Green.

The 5-3 Lady Flames are currently riding a three-game winning streak, highlighted by back-to-back road triumphs at Radford and James Madison. The Radford victory enabled Liberty to open Big South play with a win for the 12th time in the last 13 years. Meanwhile, Tuesday evening's win at James Madison was the Lady Flames' first-ever victory in Harrisonburg.

Brown, who was named Big South Player of the Week on Nov. 26, tops the conference in scoring at 18.8 ppg. She scored a season-high 28 points at Radford and finished with a game-high 22 tallies at James Madison.

Meanwhile, the Lady Flames are 3-1 since Frazier took over as the team's starting point guard. She scored 10 points at James Madison and is averaging a team-high 3.0 apg for the season.

Liberty will play its next four games at the Vines Center, beginning with a 7 p.m. contest on Saturday against UNCW (1-5). It will be the first-ever women's basketball matchup between the Lady Flames and Seahawks.
