Jade Craycraft, the 2012 Big South Volleyball Tournament MVP, was honored as a CVU.com performer on Tuesday.

Liberty junior setter Jade Craycraft was named a national Top Performer by Collegiate Volleyball Update (CVU.com) for her efforts this past week. Craycraft was one of 11 NCAA Division I volleyball players to be honored by CVU.com.

This marks Craycraft's second Top Performer honor from CVU.com this season, as she was also named on the list on Oct. 23.

A native of Wooster, Ohio, Craycraft was voted Big South Tournament MVP after helping the Lady Flames claim their seventh Big South Volleyball Championship title and second in a row. During three victories at the 2012 Big South Volleyball Championship, Craycraft averaged 10.60 assists per set, 1.60 kills per set, 2.50 digs per set and 0.80 blocks per set.

The junior setter, a three-time all-conference honoree, opened the tournament with 33 assists and seven kills against No. 8 seed Charleston Southern on Thursday. After dishing out 35 assists in the semifinal versus fourth-seeded Presbyterian College, she totaled 38 assists, 11 digs and five blocks in the championship match against No. 2 seed Coastal Carolina.

The Lady Flames (25-7) will take a 10-match winning streak into the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship, which begins on Nov. 29. Liberty will find out its first-round matchup when the tournament bracket is unveiled during the selection special, aired on ESPNU on Sunday at 4 p.m.
