Student Tickets Available For Soccer Quarterfinals
The Liberty Men's Soccer team will begin defense of their 2011 Big South title, by hosting a Big South Championship Quarterfinal match, Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Osborne Stadium.
As an official Big South Conference postseason event, there will be an admission charge for all spectators. Ticket prices for the event are $5 for adults and $3 for students, seniors and youth (3-18).
Liberty athletics has purchased 250 student tickets to the event, which will be available FREE of charge. The tickets are first available to Student Flames Club Members. SFC Members may come to the Athletics Offices on the second floor of the Williams Stadium Football Tower and pick up a ticket until 5 p.m., today.
SFC members will also be given an opportunity to obtain a ticket to the event during halftime of Liberty men's soccer game against UNC Asheville tonight at Osborne Stadiuml. An announcement will be made at the contest on how to obtain the tickets at halftime.
Beginning Monday morning, the remaining allotment of free student tickets will be available to all students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets can be obtained at the Athletics Ticket Office at the Vines Center.
Any remaining tickets for the event will be handed out at the gate on Tuesday. Gates will open at 5 p.m., with the match scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Liberty's opponent has yet to be determined.
