The Flames begin a stretch of four straight conference games on Saturday that will determine the 2012 Big South champions, starting this weekend in Conway, S.C., against Coastal Carolina.

Liberty leads the overall series between the two programs, 5-4, after winning four out of the last five matchups.

Putting points on the scoreboard has never been an issue in this series, with the two teams averaging a combined 64.3 points scored per game. The Flames have scored an average of 35.9 points per game in the series, while Coastal Carolina is averaging 28.4 points scored per game against the Flames.

Last year, the Flames scored the first 42 points of the game and rolled to a 63-27 win over No. 20 Coastal Carolina, thrilling the university's annual Homecoming Weekend crowd.
