Following a 21-13 victory over Concord on Saturday, Liberty's final non-conference regular season game of the year, the Flames return to league play this weekend against Big South rival Coastal Carolina.

The Flames hold a 5-4 series edge over the Chanticleers, having won four out of the last five matchups. Liberty's only setback during the five-year run came in 2010, when the Flames lost their last game in Conway, S.C., to the Chanticleers, 45-31, on Nov. 13.

The Flames will be looking for their sixth consecutive 3-0 start to Big South play with a victory over Coastal Carolina on Saturday.

The Chanticleers are coming off a convincing win over Big South foe VMI, 34-7, in Lexington. Coastal Carolina scored the game's first 34 points before giving up a late touchdown. Rushing was the key stat of the game with the Chanticleers rushing for 331 yards, while holding VMI to 16 rushing yards.
