The Game
The Liberty University Flames (7-12, 1-4 Big South) conclude their three game road trip when they travel to take on the Charleston Southern University Buccaneers (5-14, 0-5 Big South) at the CSU Fieldhouse (789) in Charleston, S.C., on Jan. 22, 2007. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. EST.

The Coaches
Flames' head coach Randy Dunton is currently in his sixth year overall as head coach of the Liberty basketball program. He served as the interim head coach during the 1997-98 season and was named full-time head coach prior to the 2002-03 campaign. Dunton has posted a 59-79 record since returning to Liberty, which includes two second-place finishes in the Big South and a share of the regular-season title in 2004 en route to the program's second-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Barclay Radebaugh is in the midst of his second season at Charleston Southern after coming from the University of Miami one year ago.

In his first season with the Bucs, he led them to a 13-16 overall record, taking them to the Big South Conference semi-finals. The Buccaneers also beat the College of Charleston for the first time since 1988, and captured the City Championship for the first time since 1986 with a victory over The Citadel.

Liberty holds the all-time series advantage with a 20-17 mark. The Flames are 7-10 at Charleston Southern and 13-7 at home. The Buccaneers have won the last three meetings.

Larry Blair is quickly climbing the Liberty and Big South Conference all-time scoring lists. Blair entered the season with 1,580 career points. Here is how Blair currently stacks up on the Liberty and Big South all-time scoring lists:

Blair needs 199 points or to average 16.58 points per game through the Flames' remaining 12 games which includes the first round of the Big South Championship to take sole possession of the Big South career scoring title.

Blair Looks For 2,000 Point Plateau
Larry Blair needs 47 points to become the third person ever in the Big South and at Liberty to score 2,000 career points.

Larry Blair A Scoring Machine
During Larry Blair's career, he has scored at least 20 points in 47 of his 110 games. Blair has scored at least 15 points in 70 out of 110 career games and has tallied double figures in 40-straight contests and 52 of his last 53 games.

Blair has tallied double figures in 93 of his 110 career games. In addition to Blair, only two other active NCAA Division I players are approaching at least 100 career starts and 100 double figure scoring games. Nick Fazekas of Nevada has 103 starts and 101 career double figure scoring games and Jamar Wilson of Albany has 105 career starts and 91 career double figure scoring games.

Blair Set To Break Big South Records
Larry Blair now ranks third all-time in league history with 706 field goals made, and needs 10 to pass Radford's Doug Day (715) for secondplace. The Big South career record is 775, held by Big South Hall of Famer Tony Dunkin (1989-93). Blair is second all-time with 1,720 field goal attempts, trailing Day for the top spot. Day owns the Big South record with 1,782 career field goal attempts.

Larry Blair fouled out for the first time in his career on Dec. 21 against Lipscomb. It took 101 games for Blair to foul out of a game.

McLean And Big South Rebounding
Alex McLean is currently second in the Big South Conference in rebounds with 8.6 boards per game.

McLean has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in a game eight times, which is third best in the Big South.

McLean Collecting Double-Doubles
Junior Alex McLean collected his eighth double-double of the season when he scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds at Coastal Carolina on Saturday.  It was McLean's second-straight after scoring 15 points and grabbing 14 rebounds at High Point on Jan. 17.
