With the 2012 Big South Basketball Media Day in the books, the Flames Sports Network was on the scene Tuesday, as the men's basketball preseason poll and all-conference teams were announced.

This year, the Big South Men's Basketball Championship field is expanded to 12 teams and Liberty was predicted to finish fourth in the league's North Division.

In the following video, FSN's Nick Pierce and Tim Scarborough preview the Flames' 2012-13 lineup and the conference's new format.

The preview also includes an interview with head coach Dale Layer, who discusses how Liberty plans to replace the points, rebounds and assists of Jesse Sanders. The fourth-year Liberty skipper also talks about some of the new faces to this year's roster.

The first official day of practice for the Flames is slated for Friday. Liberty's 2012-13 season begins on the road against Richmond, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. Liberty will play its first of 15 home games Nov. 12, when the Flames host William & Mary at 7 p.m.
