Jennifer Klugh has been named both Big South Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week and ECAC Division I Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week already this season.

For the second straight race, Liberty redshirt senior Jennifer Klugh's performance earned conference recognition. This week, she is the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, thanks to her impressive effort at Friday's Notre Dame Invitational.

Klugh was previously honored as ECAC Division I Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Sept. 18. This is the first time this year and the fifth time in her career that the Buckeye State native has been tabbed Big South Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Klugh placed first among the Lady Flames and 62nd overall at the highly competitive women's 5K blue race at Notre Dame. Her time of 17:33 is a season best and the third-fastest women's cross country 5K time in program history, trailing two of her own clockings from the 2011 season.

Klugh set the Liberty women's cross country 5K record (17:28.3) on Sept. 30, 2011 at the Charlotte Invitational. McAlpine Park, which played host to that race, will also be the site of Liberty's next competition. The Royal Cross Country Challenge will take place on Oct. 12, with the women's 5K going off at 3:30 p.m. and the men's 8K set for 4:15.
