Great teammates often have the opportunity to play alongside each other for just a few short years. However, sisters Dawn and Crystal Elmers have enjoyed the game of soccer together since they were four and five years old.

Now members of the Liberty women's soccer team, the pair have helped the 8-4 Lady Flames garner their best start in program history.

Recently, Flames Sports Network's Nick Pierce caught up with the junior defender and freshman forward to discuss what it was like growing up and playing soccer in Fenwick, Ontario, Canada before making the trek to the Hill City. The following video feature first appeared on this week's edition of the Flames Sports Desk.

The Lady Flames return to action tomorrow, continuing conference play on the road against Charleston Southern. Game time is slated for 4 p.m.
