During today's Flames Sports Weekend recap, FSN reporters Alan York and Nick Pierce look back at Liberty's season-opening, 20-17 road loss at Wake Forest on Saturday at BB&T Field.

The Demon Deacons needed a late touchdown and a stop within the final two minutes of the game to keep the Flames from picking up their second victory over a FBS program in three years.

The loss dropped the Flames to 0-1 on the season and 19-21 overall in season-opening contests. The game began a new era of Liberty football, as it was Liberty's first under head coach Turner Gill.

Liberty will look to give Gill his first victory this upcoming weekend when the Flames host No. 24 Norfolk State in Williams Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday.
