The Flames Sports Hotline, a weekly radio call-in show spotlighting head football coach Turner Gill, returns for another season this week on its new night. The hour-long show returns to its 7 p.m. timeslot, but moves one night sooner in the week to Monday evenings.

For the third year in a row, the Flames Sports Hotline will air weekly on Victory FM radio network (88.3 FM – Lynchburg, Roanoke, Danville), the flagship radio station for the Flames Sports Network.

The weekly show is hosted locally in Lynchburg on Liberty University's campus at Doc's Diner, and the restaurant is open to the student body and the general public. The show is broadcast live throughout the 50's-style diner and fans are encouraged to participate during the call-in segments.

Alan York, the radio "Voice of the Flames," hosts the call-in show, which this week will feature a full hour-long segment with Gill. During the 60-minute show, York will talk with Gill about Liberty's August training camp and the team's preparation for its 2012 season opener against Wake Forest on Sept. 1.

The show will return weekly on Monday night's throughout the season and will feature additional segments with members of Gill's coaching staff, players and Liberty Athletics administrators from week to week.

Following the few segments with Gill, York will open up the phone lines and field questions from the radio listening audience or those seated inside Doc's Diner. Fans unable to make it out to Doc's Diner each Monday night may call in at (877) 401-9041 to participate in the weekly show.

Those not able to participate in the call-in portion of the show can also email their questions for Gill to FSNbroadcast@liberty.edu, prior to the start of the show.

Flame fans can listen to the show locally by tuning their radio dials to Victory FM (88.3 FM Lynchburg) or one of their local affiliates for the Victory FM Radio Network. The show will also air live online at LibertyFlames.com and can be heard by clicking on the link above.
