The Flames closed out their 2012 August training camp on Sunday with their annual Media Day event, spotlighted by the taking of the team photo.

Battling patches of inclement weather, Liberty's football players completed that last day of training camp on Sunday with a series of photos. Following the team photo at 2:45 p.m., Liberty's players moved from station to station taking still and video headshots, group photos with their position coaches and each newcomer took an individual photo with head coach Turner Gill.

Following Media Day, Flames Sports Network reporter Alan York had a chance to catch up with Gill, who provided some post-training camp insight and previewed the team's schedule leading up to its season opener against Wake Forest on Sept. 1.

Liberty University will hold its first session of classes of the 2012-13 academic year tomorrow and players will have the day off. The Flames will return to the practice field on Tuesday afternoon at roughly 3:45 p.m. where they will assume a normal in-season practice schedule.
