Senior Guard Larry Blair was named to the 2006 BYU Holiday Classic all-tournament team. The four team tournament was played December 28-30 and featured host Brigham Young, Liberty, Oral Roberts and Seton Hall.

Blair averaged 20.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game during the three day event at the Marriott Center on the Brigham Young University Campus in Provo, Utah.

Blair made quite the impression on his opponents during the tournament. "Larry Blair is one of the toughest players we've played against all year. Blair hit some of the toughest shots I've seen. There may be a spot for him in the leagues ahead," said Oral Roberts Head Coach Scott Sutton.

Blair scored 26 points on 10-of-17 shooting against Oral Roberts who beat number 3-ranked Kansas earlier in the season. Blair's 26 points served as the tournaments second best individual scoring effort of the tournament.
