Coverage Set for Big South Football Media Day
The Flames Sports Network and LibertyFlames.com will provide multiple forms of coverage for the 2012 Big South Football Media Day, Thursday, at the Renaissance Suites Hotel in Charlotte, N.C.
The annual kickoff event for the conference football season will begin with a luncheon at Noon. During the 90-minute luncheon, the conference will announce the Big South preseason all-conference teams, the league's predicted order of finish and the 2012 Big South Preseason Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year.
Following the luncheon, media breakout sessions will take place for roughly three hours, during which head coaches and student-athletes from all seven Big South football programs will be interviewed by various newspapers, radio and television reporters.
Kelly is Liberty's leading returning wide receiver, after the senior CoSIDA Academic All-American finished the 2011 season with 40 receptions for 591 yards and three touchdowns.
Fogg was a consensus All-America return specialist in 2011, after leading the country with three kickoff returns for a touchdown and averaging 33.5 yards per return.
The Flames Sports Network will provide video excess to the event, including interviews and preseason comments from Gill, Fogg and Kelly.
Finally, the Big South Network will provide a free live interview session with each program's head coach and student-athletes in attendance, starting at roughly 1:40 p.m.
